About the Role
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the MEP team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to engineers and designers.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance and productivity.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of MEP systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, identifying and addressing any issues or risks proactively.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical leadership in the design and engineering of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems.
Review and approve design documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy, functionality, and efficiency.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in MEP engineering, incorporating innovative solutions into project designs.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in MEP systems.
Conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Client Relations:
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and providing exceptional service and support.
Collaborate with clients to develop customized MEP solutions that meet their specific requirements and objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Strong technical expertise in MEP systems design and engineering, with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients and stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Demonstrated commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement in MEP engineering practices.
